Samar Kikig 2008

Samar Kikig - a .5 million guaranteed prize 5 stag derby event with 5 elimination series held in different venues through out Samar and culminating in a championship event in Calbayog City on November 22 -23 at the Ipao Sports Complex. Samar Kikig was a smashing success with 60 entries resulting in 107 fights. The event is the brianchild of DSS Doc Ian Pete Bandala of Northern Samar. The event was attended by Doc Jess Derije - Game Fowl Consultant of B-meg, ASM Jeoffrey Lindo, TSM Edwin Cimafranca, DSS Regil Gesultera - Aquatic Feeds, Meg Amore Sotto - Marketing Game Fowl, DSS Michael Manuta, DSS Roel Subere and ABS-CBN show anchor Boyet Cortez and crew of "Let's do Business". Samar Kikig is the pioneering B-meg initiated and promoted Derby. Kikig will now be held annually in the whole Region 8, and announcements have been made that next year B-meg Kikig will be a 1 million pesos guaranteed prize 8 stag derby.

Highlights of the night included the raffling off of the Lemon Sweater Trio, in which the winner jumped down from the bleacher and hit and broke the glass in the cockpit resulting in injuries to the winner of the trio, however the derby went on and eventually a solo champion was crowned.

On a chance encounter with San Miguel endorser and Phillipine boxing great Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao at Narita, Japan.

Alvin Patrimonio visits TWMC

Basketball legend Alvin Patrimonio recently visited Iloilo City for a promotional activity for B-meg. SMFI and TWMC staffers including Alvin Patrimonio paid a vist to selected stores in the towns of Sta. Barbara and Leganes to promote B-meg. This activity was also graced by the presence of the Marketing Group headed by Category Manager Cathy Sunga and Reena Del Mundo, also present was TPM for VisMin Anju Barrieses and TSM Doc John Danico and DSS Doc Lyd Ebora. TWMC staffers who were likewise present to give their support were OM Obet Dema-suay, TWMC GM Winston Yao Cabigon among others. Our toll partner and exclusive mega-dealer Ricardo Chua was also at hand to witness the event and lend his support.

TWMC Summer Outing

Winner 1, Winner 2 & Winner 3 groups held a summer outing together at Tadjao Beach Resort, in Tolosa, Leyte. Most of the Farm-Aide Technicians and Office Staff of TWMC were present during the occassion. There was a quick recognition ceremony held for the achievers and also fun and games for everyone's enjoyment.

TWMC joins Fiesta Pilar in Zambo

TWMC together with B-meg joins the celebration of Fiesta Pilar in Zamboanga City. Biboy Baboy the famous mascot of B-meg lets his presence be felt among the Zamboangeno crowd. Here are some of the pictures of our participation.

Opening of Matthew's Meatshop

Matthew's Meatshop is the first fully operational Meatshop supported by B-meg and enrolled into the BMAP program of TWMC. Matthew's Meatshop will provide tremendous support into the buy-back program of TWMC in W1 Leyte Area being handled by Doc Mike Manuta. The meatshop is owned and operated by Engr. Marlon A. Tumambing a close friend of Mr. Winston Yao Cabigon.

TWMC joins Pintados & Sangyaw Festivals

Tacloban Winner Marketing Corp. and B-meg joins the celebration of the Pintados and Sangyaw Festivals in Tacloban City. The float shown in the photo was the same one used for the Sinulog Festival in Cebu where it garnered 2nd place for best float. The Pintados and Sangyaw Festivals are an annual event held in June in celebration of the Tacloban City Fiesta.
